Sun Moth

About the Sun Moth

A day-flying moth with brilliant iridescent colors that rival butterflies. Madagascar is home to many unique lepidoptera found nowhere else. Day-flying moths are often as colorful as butterflies, blurring the line between the two groups. Their bright colors warn predators of their toxicity. Many species remain undescribed.
