About the Cloudless Sulphur
A large, bright lemon-yellow butterfly common from Argentina to the southern United States. Strong fliers that migrate southward in large numbers in autumn. Caterpillars feed on sennas and partridge pea and change color depending on what they eat. Adults have long tongues and visit red and pink tubular flowers. Strays sometimes reach as far north as Canada.
