About the Giant Leopard Moth
Their striking white wings covered in black spots and rings make them one of the most attractive moths. When threatened, they reveal bright orange-striped abdomen as a warning. Their caterpillars are black with orange-red bands and covered in bristles that cause skin irritation. The caterpillars roll into a ball when touched. Despite their large size, they are completely harmless as adults.
