About the Rosy Maple Moth
A small silk moth with a fuzzy yellow body and wings of pink and yellow, often compared to candy. Its caterpillars, called green-striped mapleworms, feed on maple leaves and occasionally strip trees. Adults have no functional mouthparts and live only a short time. Attracted to lights at night. One of the most colorful moths in North America.
